Social Enterprise Alliance Summit 2009 - Listen to Keynote Policy Discussion

Andrew Wolk, CEO, Root Cause, and Louisiana Lt. Governor Mitch Landrieu

Social Enterprise Summit 2009 April 15-17th - New Orleans

The Social Enterprise Alliance's Summit is the premier North American forum for the advancement of social enterprise as a movement. At this year's 10th Anniversary Social Enterprise Summit, about 400 leaders came together in New Orleans from across North America and beyond. New this year was a policy track, co-sponsored by Root Cause and its Public Innovators initiative, which explored the intersection of government and social enterprise and provided concrete examples of current experiments and prospective opportunities.

The Summit kicked off with a policy-focused keynote between Root Cause founder and CEO Andrew Wolk and Louisiana Lt. Governor Mitch Landrieu, which included the Lt. Governor's acceptance of the 2009 Public Innovator Award. You can read Andrew's opening remarks here.
